Update – Prayer Request Jose

Dear prayer partners, it has been long overdue that I update you on how my husband is doing.  I thank each of you for your prayers and pray that God blesses you for your faithfulness.  It has been 10 1/2 months since my husband was discharged from the hospital.  This is HUGE because it is the longest he has gone without having to be hospitalized in over 3 years.  He was averaging a trip to the hospital every 3 months, and his stays were anywhere from a week to almost a month.

His Crohn’s is in remission, PRAISE God!  His legs are healing, PRAISE God!  He is weaning off the Prednisone and pain meds, PRAISE God!  These are HUGE victories!!  He has had a setback, his is having problems with a compressed nerve root in his L5, but is scheduled for a procedure tomorrow.  Due to this recent setback he has not been very mobile resulting in a large weight gain, which has also created some breathing problems and fluid retention.  I am NOT discouraged with this because I know that God is in control.  He is in the midst of all of this.  That is not to say that it’s all sunshine and lollipops, I would be lying if I said we are struggling with this but then we stop, breathe, pray, and realize that God has brought him so far and He is not done yet.

I ask that you continue to pray for Jose. That one day very soon he is able to wake up without bandages on his legs, able to take a deep cleansing breath, able to walk without struggling, has been able to come off a lot of the meds he is on, and that he can be more involved with our beautiful grandbabies.

Again, thank you, bless you, and may God richly reward your faithfulness.

Update Prayer Request for Madden

Hello dear prayer warriors.  I received a comment on my prayer request post for Madden from her mother.  It appears that her baby lived for 5 days after being born in September.  While her daughter’s time here on earth was short, the miracle of her birth and the miracle of 13 people coming to Christ at her funeral will last for eternity.  Please continue to lift this family up in prayer, asking God to cover them in peace and healing. ~Briggie

Prayer Update – Lucille Dennis

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is with both sorrow and joy that I tell you this news: Lucille has gone to be with our Lord.  It is sorrow for the loss her family and friends will go through as they mourn and heal, but we rejoice that she is now with Jesus and she is among those that have gone before her and she is without pain.  Please pray for her family and friends and ask the Holy Spirit to comfort them.

Urgent Prayer Request Update–Charline

Hello prayer warriors, last month I posted a prayer request for Charline.  I just received a request to ask everyone to continue to keep her in prayer as she now has a mass in her head.  She just found this out last Tuesday when she received results from extensive tests that were done.  The doctors are trying medicine to shrink the mass hoping they can remove it if her heart can stand the surgery.

Your prayers have helped bring Charline this far, and we all know the power of prayer, and the grace and mercy of our Lord.

Update on Bob Wood

It is always difficult to share sad news, especially when it is about the passing of someone we know or have been praying for.

Doris’ brother Bob has gone to be with his Lord and Savior.  His pain and suffering are over, and his new journey begins.

Please join me in prayer for his sister Doris, their family and friends.  He is survived by seven children, 24 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; a brother and a sister.

Pray that the peace of God that passes all understanding surrounds them and that He sends the Holy Spirit to comfort them during this difficult time.  Pray that when they start to feel sad for their loss that they start to praise God and rejoice that Bob is now with his heavenly Father.

I know that Doris and her family are grateful for all your prayers.  May God bless you and keep you in His care.

Urgent Prayer Request Update- Louise and Albert

Hello Prayer warrior and Saints – I humbly beg your forgiveness in being so delayed in posting an update.  There have been a number of things going on that have kept me from posting this update which regrettably I cannot share with you.

It is with a mixture of deep sadness and great joy that I let you know that Albert has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We miss him and his divine sense of humor and genuine love for Jesus but we know he has gone to a better place and it is only a temporary separation as we will see him again one day.

There was a period where we thought Louise would join Albert in heaven, but our God has a plan and a purpose for her and He is not ready for her yet – to which I humbly say, Praise God and Amen, because I am not ready for her to leave just yet either!  She is doing wonderfully and it is truly a miracle that she is healing so quickly.  She looks and sounds great and hopes to be home by Christmas day.  No one will EVER convince me that prayer is not powerful or worthy of our time and I will NEVER leave it up to fate!

Please continue to lift Louise and her family and friends up in prayer as we stand and wait for the completion of God’s full healing and restoration in her life.  I give thanks to God for His faithfulness and to you all for your commitment and diligence.  May God richly bless you with His peace and riches according to His will and riches in heaven in the precious name of Jesus, amen. ^i^

Prayer Update for Sandy and Ron

How wonderful is our Lord?  Is there anything too big or too small for Him?  Daniel sent me an update on Ron and to God be the glory!  I lift up hands in praise to God, Father and Master of the Universe.  Please continue to lift Sandy and Ron up in prayer before the Lord.  I give Him thanks and pray for blessings upon you in the name of His precious Son, Jesus, Amen.  – Briggie ^i^

Hi Judy;

You have really touched my heart. Standing together in God’s presence through prayer has really helped Ron. He did not have the shakes as bad and got some sleep last night. I did too.

Thank you so much and please let the ones that are praying for Ron’s healing know God is hearing their prayers and how much they have encouraged my faith. I am very grateful God has given me such a wonderful support team. Ron has accepted God and when I told him of all the people praying for him and that he WILL see a difference in his health and life, he remarked that these people don’t even know me and they are taking the time out of their busy schedule to pray. God’s love is touching his heart and I wanted you to know it is increasing his faith.

Faith is a mighty spiritual force that unleashes the mighty power of God. And faith is not faith if it does not win.I like that last part. I will keep you posted on God’s gift of healing that he is receiving.

God bless you Judy and Friends,

Sandy

Prayer Update

Hello and God bless you.  Back in September 2008 I was asked to post a prayer request about a married couple who were starting a church.  Well, God is truly blessing their ministry and has provided their church with just about everything they needed from furniture to members.  Their church is growing and they have so many different cultures and religious affiliations represented.  They have some people from Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico.

Their friend Jess has asked us to lift the pastors up before the Lord as their home has just gone into foreclosure.  This is nothing more than the enemy trying to put an end to the good work they are doing for God and to the spreading of His Word.

Please pray that God’s will be done, whether it is for them to keep their home, have their debts dissolved, or to be blessed with another home for less money.  God’s Word said that whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven.  In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, I bind the enemy over their finances.  I break the hold the enemy has over their home and loose the finances and resources of heaven and break the bonds of debt.  By the authority of Your Word Lord, I bind every force that comes against their financial prosperity and declare all curses set against them NULL and VOID.  In the mighty name of Jesus, they are redeemed from the curse of poverty and free from oppression.  I loose the full abundance of God all pray that all that rightfully belongs to them comes to them under the grace of God and in His perfect way, in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer Update – Evey Campbell

Hello Saints and Prayer Warriors.  Just a few short weeks ago I asked you to lift Evey Campbell up in prayer, and today I have both sad and joyous news.

Evey has gone to be with her heavenly Father.  We mourn the loss of a beautiful woman and sister in Christ and rejoice her joining those who have gone before us to be with Jesus.

Please lift her family and friends up in prayer as they grieve her passing from this world and help them to rejoice her going home.

I am sure Evey is singing and praising God and rejoicing her new spiritual body that has no sickness or death pinning it down.

prayer Update # 2 For Kiarah

So, I posted a prayer update for Kiarah back on September 5th and I recently received an update from her grandmother that I want to share with you.  Continue to lift Kiarah and her family up before the Lord for healing and strength.

I’m Kiarah’s grandmother in Florida.  Thank you for all your prayers for my precious little grand daughter.   She is quite the fighter and smiles a lot even though she is so weak some times.  She will be having radiation 5x for the next 5 days and every 3rd week she will be having a double dose of chemo for 5 days.  She makes this old (60) years old grandmother not worry about her minor aches and pains any more.   We know that God is watching over her and my son and his wife in NJ.

Prayer Request Update

Back on September 3rd, I posted a prayer request from one of my readers  She asked me to pray for a couple starting a church and she has given me a praise update that I want to share with everyone.  I want to thank everyone for their prayers, and ask that you continue to lift them up before the Lord as they prepare to share His Word who hunger and thirst after it.  May God continue the good work He has started.

Prayer Update – Kiarah

Last week I posted a prayer request for Kiarah and I received an update from my friend Doris as to her condition.

Kiarah had the surgery and she was going to go home today, however she has had a minor setback, she has developed Pneumonia in her left lung and has been placed on antibiotics.

Please continue to lift her up in prayer for her continued healing.  Ask God to touch the nurses and doctors and place Kiarah on their hearts to provide the extra care and attention that she needs.   Please continue to pray for her family and loved ones that they have peace about Kiarah’s progress and healing and strength to care for her when she gets home.

I will continue to post updates about her progress as I receive them.  Thank you for your faithfulness and commitment and may God richly bless you and grant you favor with man and meet all your needs according to His righteousness and riches in heaven, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen.

Urgent Prayer Request – Update Part 2

Well, I gave you an update on Saturday as to our prayer request for God to approve the school loan for Ian, now it’s time to let you know how I made out…

Today is Monday and I promised to update you on my prayer request for God to bless me with the job I interviewed for on Wednesday and I received word today that they decided to hire someone else.

I learned about this via email a few hours ago, and I was not able until now, to share this news with you.  I was/am so terribly disappointed and my heart was/is so full of sorrow, even though my head kept/keeps telling me that God is in control.  Actually, it is all I hear in my mind, the words to the song by Twila Paris keep playing in a constant loop, “God is control”, over and over and over again.  This however is a good thing, it gets my focus off me and onto Him.

I let myself cry and cry hard for a few minutes to mourn the loss of a job that I wanted so badly, need so badly.  I questioned God and told Him how I feel,  and even with all my groaning, told Him that I know no matter how I felt, I knew He was with me, wants the best for me and has something better in mind for me.

Part of me is sad, because it seems as though for all my years of hard work with my former employer, and for all the knowledge and skills I have to offer, no one out there recognizes what a great addition to their company I would be.  I have sent my resume out hundreds of times over the past year with barely a nibble, each time telling myself that God has something better for me.

I am also trying my best not to get into a spirit of worry and fear over our finances which continue to sink us deeper and deeper into debt and getting a job would help tremendously in this area, not to mention all the other ways it would benefit us.

Please continue to keep me in prayer, I need God’s grace and mercy to keep me from shutting everything out, turning inward and from falling into a “woe is me” sand-trap.

Thank you all so very very much for your words of encouragement, your prayers and your friendship.  May God richly bless you and open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing overflowing to those around you.

Urgent Prayer Request – Update

This past Wednesday, I reached out to you in prayer for myself (will have news on Monday) and for Ian, a close friend of my son Jarrett, and a young man who is like a son to my husband and I.

I asked you to pray and ask God to blind the loan officers to our poor credit rating as we co-signed his school loan and we just learned that God answered our prayers.

As each day passed and we did not hear any word on the outcome, my thoughts would wander and I had to constantly remind myself that God had it under control and it would be according to His will if the loan was approved or not.  I was so overcome with emotion that tears streamed down my face as I listened to the voicemail from Ian thanking us for helping him and how much he appreciated our support.  My thoughts went immediately to God thanking Him because I knew that if it were up to man, we would face defeat.

All praise, honor, glory and blessing be unto God, Master of the Universe, Creator of all things seen and unseen, who sits upon the throne and reigns over all the earth.  I thank each of you for your prayers and pray that God blesses you according to His riches and Glory in heaven.

THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER THROUGH YESHUAH HA’ MASHIACH!!!!

Prayer Update – Shorty

A few months ago I posted a prayer request for Shorty in Illinois, and I am posting an update today.

Shorty had surgery and is recuperating.  He needs to undergo treatment for Prostate Cancer and they are now determining what course of action to take so please continue to lift him and his family up in prayer before the Lord.

Father, Master of the Universe, Creator of all that is seen and unseen, we come before You today to give You thanks and praise for watching over Shorty and his doctors during his surgery.  We ask that you continue to heal him and give him strength as he begins treatment to finally remove and cleanse any signs of cancer in his body.  We believe the blood of Jesus flows through him wiping out any germ, disease, or illness and that it brings life and health to all of his organs, tissues and blood cells in the precious name of Jesus, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Amen.

Prayer Request For Nicholas – Urgent Update

Last week I posted the prayer request below and I have an update below from his mom.  Nicholas is having a tough time and we need continued prayer for him and his family.

As of 7/30/08 Nick is still in the hospital and now has a fever of 102.  Nick was in alot of pain ,we are up every hour on the hour!  We were supposed to go home today, but he woke up feeling sick to his stomach, and with a pain on his left side! Dr.Figueroa got really concerned that he might have a blockage, so he sent him to get an ultrasound, and some blood work!  The ultrasound showed swelling that is causing his pain, and a little blockage and his blood work for his kidney function showed a little elevated, so this is what they keep an eye on to make sure your not in kidney failure!  He is in no danger of kidney failure, but if the numbers keep elevating then they have to insert something to drain the kidneys while he is recovering!  He just started a new medicine to help him relax his bladder, and to relieve the peeing every 45 minutes, and the pain and so far it is relieveing some pain, but he is still urinating all the time!  We are all exhausted and have been here at the hospital for 6 days.

7/25/08 Dear prayer partners, please add Nicholas to your prayer list.  He is having surgery on his kidney today.  He is the grandson of one of my oldest and dearest friends and he has had health problems since birth.

I don’t really know all the details, but it has to do with a urinary reflux problem and they are believing that this surgery will correct the problem.

Please keep the doctors and hospital in prayer that they will be guided by the Lord as they operate and care for Nick.  Please also lift up his family that they will continue to have faith in Jehovah Rophe that His Will will be performed and that He has a plan.

The blood of Jesus flows through Nick bringing life and healing to every cell, muscle, fibre, organ and tissue in his body.  Sickness has no place in his body and he is healed in the mighty name of Yeshua.  Father, Master and Creator of the Universe, and all that is seen and unseen, place Your loving hands upon Nick and his family and let the peace that only You can bring fall upon them and wrap around them in Jesus name.

Update On Logan 7/7

I just received this update from Daniel and knew you would all want to hear this wonderful news.  All praise and glory to God, Master and Creator of the Universe!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am waiting for Logan’s Grandma to give me an update on Logan. The last I heard, Logan is scheduled to come home tomorrow, July 8th. That was not for certain when I spoke with Gail last. Also, Gail is trying to get me a beautiful picture of Logan taken recently. Gail did tell me that Logan continues to make wonderful progress with his therapy and is getting better each day.

As I’ve said before, the prayers are working and are still needed. We need to continue to pray for Logan until he is back 100%!!!!

Thank you all again for your continued love and support for Logan and the family. As soon as I hear from Gail, I will make sure to let you all know! I can’t wait to send the beautiful picture of Logan to you all!!!! He has become our MIRACLE and I know you all feel like Logan is one of your own, just as I do!!!!!!

Love to you all!

Update on Logan – 6/16

I just got this update from Daniel and I’m so excited to share this wonderful news with everyone.  Please continue to lift Logan and his family up before the Lord giving thanks and praise for all He has done, is doing and will do for them.

God bless you,

Briggie

Hello to All,

Here is the latest update on Logan. It is awesome news!! I am so excited and happy to be able to let you all know how much the prayers and love for Logan and his family have brought them. Logan will be going home soon.

Well, the news on Logan is absolutely wonderful. He has been at TIRR receiving rehabilitation and therapy. According to his Grandma Gail, they are working with him teaching him how to walk again and how to talk again. He’s making great progress and are expecting him to go home in the very near future.

Also, his Grandpa George is doing very well.

I personally would like to say “Thank You!!!!!!!!” a million times to all of you who have prayed and kept Logan and the family in your prayers till this day. Logan still has a long way to go, but he has also come such a long way. Please, keep them in your prayers because they still need the strength and support they are receiving from the prayers and love.

God Bless You all!

Prayer Update – Shorty

Back in April I posted a prayer request for Doris’ brother Shorty and today she is asking us to pray for him to have peace over the outcome of his biopsy’s.

Please join me in prayer for Doris’ brother Shorty. He has just undergone 46 biopsies this month in Chicago. He has lost 25 pounds due to nerves Please also pray for Shorty’s wife Marge for peace, strength and courage as she supports her husband during this trying time.

Father, You are Jehovah Rophe and we come to you today on behalf of Shorty and pray that You place Your hands upon him and his wife. Jesus, You bore all our sickness and freed us from the curse of death while on the cross. Your blood flows through Shorty and brings life and healing to him. We forbid these tumors or growths to inhabit Shorty’s body and command them to dissolve in the name of Jesus. Sickness must flee and has no power over him and the word of God energizes every cell of his body. We bind the spirit of fear and nervousness and cast it into the pit of hell where it came from. We loose the spirit of peace, hope and joy that only our heavenly Father can bring and ask God to place His angels around him as a hedge of protection. We ask these things in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Prayer Update for Jayne

Dear friends and prayer partners, I just learned that Jayne has gone to be with our Savior today.  While I know she is in a better place with no more suffering or pain, she will be truly missed by her friends and family.

I had the privilege of working with Jayne for several years while we were at Comcast and counted her as a friend as well as a co-worker.  Jayne was a feisty, hard working, no nonsense woman, who loved a good joke, was loyal to her friends, and she was a major force in her family and helped to keep everything together and working smooth.

Please continue to lift her family up before the Lord, especially her husband as he is not taking his very well and his family is concerned about his health and well being.  Pray for a peace and calm to fall on them and cover them as they mourn her loss and begin their healing process.
