Prayer Request – Gao Zhisheng

This request was sent to me by my dear friend Daniel.  Please join me in prayer and lift Gao and his family up to the Lord.  While so many things are wrong with America, freedom of speech and freedom of worship are something we all too often take for granted.  I cannot even begin to imagine what it is like for those like Gao that are being tortured for their belief in Jesus and for spreading His message.  Below is the message that Daniel passed along to me, please pray and then share this with as many as you can.  Pray for Gao and the many others like him, asking God to protect them and place angels about them to keep them safe.  – Briggie ^i^

 

 

DAY 83: Gao Zhisheng Held Hostage Christian human rights attorney Gao Zhisheng, has now been missing 83 days, and there is increasing concern for his life. He was last seen being hauled away from his home by more than a dozen police officers on February 4. Reports from inside China indicate he is undergoing brutal torture. The situation is critical, and with each day that passes, Gao Zhisheng’s life hangs in the balance. Because of Gao’s work defending house church Christians and others persecuted in China, the Chinese government wants to silence his voice. ChinaAid president, Bob Fu calls Gao’s torture “the most severe persecution in China’s modern history.” Gao’s wife and two children, who have also been abused and tormented by the police, escaped to the U.S. less than two weeks ago. His family is afraid that authorities, furious at their escape, are taking revenge on Gao. An Easter Obituary

friends of Jesus went to the tomb, it was

discovered that He was no longer there.

Numerous reports & sightings confirm

that Jesus not only was resurrected, but

is in fact alive and lives among us today! 

 

Prayer request – Marge

Hello prayer warriors.  We have been asked to lift our dear sister in Christ, Marge, up to the Lord in prayer.

She is tentatively scheduled to have surgery on 4/17 to have her Thyroid completely removed.

We know that Jehovah Rophe lives and reigns and through Him all things are possible.  He is the healer of all healers and the blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ flows through her bringing  life and healing.  In the name of Jesus, we bind the enemy and give all praise to God for His blessings and healing hands upon Marge.  Lord, if Your will is for her to have surgery, give her peace as Marge prepares for this part of her journey.  Guide the hands of her doctors and bless her with caregivers that will lift her up to the Lord.  Father God, place Your angels about Marge and give them charge over her care, in Jesus’ precious and mighty name, Amen.
