A Message of Peace

* I am truly blessed by everyone that comes to my blog, however I have noticed that many visitors mistake my site with that of Joel Osteen Ministries.  When I post a message from Today’s Word, the message is from the daily devotional email I receive each day from Joel Osteen Ministries.  Please note this blog is not affiliated with Joel Osteen Ministries, I am simply passing along his message to my readers.  If you want to receive daily devotional messages from his ministry, please click HERE!  If you have signed up for messages and no longer receive them, check your “junk mail” folder as sometimes your anti-virus puts the messages there, do as I have in the past and sign up again!

I welcome your prayer requests and try to respond either by email, or a reply on my blog and do not want to discourage anyone from leaving their prayer requests.  I personally pray over each message, however please know that I am unable to forward your prayers on to Joel Osteen Ministries.  May God richly bless you, in the mighty name of Jesus.

I am always so blessed when I read my daily devotionals from Joel Osteen.  His message below speaks of having peace and being rewarded “double for our trouble”!  I pray that the peace of God, Master and Creator of the Universe is yours and that it covers you and your home and your loved ones like a blanket. – Briggie ^i^

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.”
(Exodus 14:14, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In life, we’re always going to have critics. We’ll always have difficult people who try to upset us and steal our peace and joy. But, you don’t have to respond to every critic. You can decide to take the high road and let God fight your battles for you.
Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, there are people who aren’t going to accept you. They just don’t want to be at peace with you. In fact, when Jesus sent out His disciples to certain homes, He told them to always speak peace over those homes. And then He said in effect, “If they don’t receive the peace that you’re offering, then it will come back to you.” That tells me, if you will do your best to be at peace with people, even if they won’t take your peace, the good news is that peace will just come back to you. You’ll not only get your peace, but you’ll get their share as well! That’s double for your trouble! When you do the right thing no matter what is happening, God sees it and He rewards it.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I choose to hold my peace. I choose to do the right thing even when the wrong thing is happening. I trust that You are fighting my battles for me. I give You all the honor and praise. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

There’s nothing too hard for him – A Message From Joel Osteen

Well, it’s Friday and I’m sitting here, trying to decompress from a really stressful day / week of work and I’m reading my email.  As I go through and delete all the junk mail, and respond to messages from friends and family, I save my Joel Osteen messages for last.  The message below is what came today and all I can say is, thank you Lord for using Joel Osteen as a messenger for Your word.  God is in control and I know that there is NOTHING too big, too small or too hard for Him.  He works all things for our good and while it may seem it is more than we can stand, as long as we stand with Him, He will help us, give us strength, comfort and guidance to be victorious.  Have a wonderfully blessed weekend and may God keep you in His care. – Briggie ^i^

There’s Nothing too Hard for Him

Today’s Scripture

“Is any thing too hard for the LORD?…” (Genesis 18:14, KJV).

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

In Genesis, God promised Sarah that she was going to have a child. At first she didn’t believe it. She thought she was too old. She thought her time had passed. But do you know what God said to her? He simply asked, “Sarah, is there anything too hard for the Lord?” I believe God is saying the same thing to us today. “Is there anything too hard for Me?”

Do you think your dreams are too big for God to bring to pass? Do you think that a relationship is too far gone for God to restore it? Do you think you have to just live with sickness the rest of your life? Get a new vision today because there is nothing too hard for God! God is saying today, “I am all-powerful. I can turn any situation around.” It doesn’t matter what things look like in the natural, we serve a supernatural God. The Amplified version puts it this way, “Is there anything too wonderful for the Lord?” The next time you think, “That’s just too good to be true,” remember, God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams. Take the limits off and dare to believe that He has wonderful things in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, I choose to trust You with my whole heart. I know there is nothing too hard for You. Help me to stand strong in faith and keep me close to You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer Request – Doris

Hello prayer warriors!  My dear friend Doris has asked us to lift her up in prayer.  She has just learned that she has Diabetes and needs to begin medication and change her way of eating.  As a Diabetic, I know and understand all to well how this illness changes your life and I also know that God can heal her body to perfection so that she never needs to take medication or worry about what she eats if it is in His will.  I praise God for His healing in my life and I am standing in faith with Doris that God will heal her too.

Lord God, Master and Creator of the Universe, we praise You and thank you for all you do for us.  We come before you, repentant and ask forgiveness of our sins.  Lord, Your blood flows through Doris, bringing life and healing to all areas of her body.  In the mighty name of Jesus and through His precious blood, we declare health and healing and command the illness of Diabetes to leave her.  We bind Diabetes in the name of Jesus.  Lord, You said no weapon forged against us shall prosper and that in Your name there is power.  Father, send the Holy Spirit to comfort Doris and give her peace.  Give her Your strength and place Your angels as a hedge of protection around her.  Let Your word and promises continually be in her heart, on her lips and in her ears to give her strength and help her to stand in faith and wait upon You.  We ask all this in the name of Jesus, amen.
