In Touch Prayer October Week 4

Please join me in lifting up In Touch Ministries each week.  Take care and God bless you, – Briggie ^i^

PraiseFor the past 35 years, God has supplied all that In Touch Ministries has needed, spiritually and financially, to broadcast the gospel via television and radio.  Praise the Lord for His generous provision as we labor to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.

PrayerPray that the Lord would order Dr. Stanley’s time and make him sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Ask the Father to bless him with divine opportunities to minister to the lost as well as to hurting and broken believers.

Prayer request For Carmela

Dear prayer partners and warriors, my friend Daniel is asking us to please join in prayer for Carmela and her family.  I have posted the prayer request that Annie sent to Daniel and ask that you add them to your personal prayer list, your church prayer list and anyone that you pray via email with.

Friends, we know the power of prayer and the awesome power of God.  Let us speak words of healing, peace and strength over Carmela and her family as they stand with faith in God and His will for them.  We know that NOTHING is too small or too big for God and through Him all things are possible in the mighty name of Jesus!

Hello My Angel, Please pray for my Goddaughter Carmela who is 30 years old, married with a beautiful little boy.  She’s been getting bad headaches. The doctor told her she has a brain tumor. It’s pretty big in size and part of it is touching the back of her eye. She is seeing apparently a great neurologist tomorrow in Denver. Please pray for a miracle. Thank you and I love you all, Annie

In Touch Prayer October Week 2

You may have seen in past months my posts for In Touch Ministries.  I receive quarterly prayer requests and I pass them along.  I just received the October – December praise / prayer calendar and I know I fell behind on the last quarter so I am making it a point to get these posted right away.  Please join me in lifting up In Touch Ministries each week.  Take care and God bless you, – Briggie ^i^

PrayerPray for Dr. Stanley’s personal devotional times to be intimate and refreshing.  Ask that he would clearly hear the voice of the Lord, both for his personal life and for the ministry of In Touch.

PrayerThis week, ask God to protect Dr. Stanley as he travels on vacation.  Pray that he will enjoy a time of rest and relaxation and that he will be rejuvented physicay, emotionally, and spiritually.

If Only Others Were So bold!

This is actually a true story: My friend in Yeshua, Daniel, sent this to my email and I wanted to share it with you.  This pastor has hit the nail right on the head and his words spoke to my spirit.  My prayer is that others would stand up and speak the truth like this pastor did.

In 1996 When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

“Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask Your forgiveness and to seek Your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says ‘Woe to those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that:
We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.
We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism.
We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the center of Your will, to open ask it in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen”

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively. The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa, and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on “The Rest of the Story” on the radio and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.  With the Lord’s help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called one nation under God.
