Update on Logan 4/30

I am terribly sorry for the late posting of this update.  I have been having problems with my internet connection and it just got corrected today.  Here is the most recent update that I received from Daniel on Logan.  God bless you all for your prayers and for asking about how he is doing.

Logan is making some wonderful, wonderful progress. He is opening his eyes, turning his head, he is reacting to stimulus, he can breathe on his own, but they do turn the ventilator on for a few breaths to make sure he is getting plenty of oxygen to his brain. He is able to follow commands like to squeeze a hand or blink his eyes. This is all awesome news! I do believe that Logan is the Miracle that prayers have asked for. Because he is still affected by some of the drugs that were used to keep him in a coma, the doctors still cannot say what effects the brain damage will have. They are expecting to move Logan to the rehabilitation and therapy section of the hospital this week, hopefully tomorrow. They will know more as the drugs continue to leave his system. He is having to have other meds that will help with the withdrawal of the “coma” meds and so he is still somewhat medicated. But, like I said earlier, he is making wonderful progress.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. Please, keep praying. Logan and his family still have so much to go through and still need the support and strength that the prayers have provided for them. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.
