I was reading one of the blogs I subscribe to and there is a prayer request listed for Rachel. I clicked the link to read more about her and after reading each post on Rachel’s progress, I knew I had to post something here as well.
This is Rachel, she needs your prayers. She just had surgery to correct a Reflux problem that resulted from problems during her delivery. Click here to read the most recent prayer request.
Father, in the name of Your precious Son Jesus, I pray on behalf of Rachel and her family. Father, because of Your Word, Rachel is an over-comer. She overcomes the world, the flesh and the devil, by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of her testimony. You have come so that Rachel can have life and have it more abundantly. She received that life through Your Word, and it flows to every organ in her body. As God was with Moses, so is He with Rachel. Galatians 3:13 flows through her blood to every cell in her body restoring life and health. In the name of Jesus, we forbid confusion in her stomach and we call her esophagus normal and reject any acid that forms there. We speak to her appetite and bind any confusion or fear about taking the bottle and speak to her body declaring it will accept food and nutrition so that her weight will increase and not decrease. Lord, You have blessed Rachel’s food and water and have taken sickness from her so that she will fulfill the number of her days with health.
Father, bless Rachel’s family with peace and release them from any stress or fear about her health. Bless her sister Samantha and surround her with friends, family and loved ones while her mom and dad tend to her baby sister. Bless the parents Lord with the strength to face each day with hope and faith in God’s plan for them, I ask these things in the matchless name of Jesus, Yeshua Ha’ Mashiach in whom all things are possible, Amen.
If you click on Rachel’s picture it will take you to the main page of Rachel’s Story. Thank you for your prayers and please pass this on either through your blogs or send the link in your email.
Okay, technically I don’t de-clutter on the weekends, but the house is quiet and I’m bored so I went through my “list” and tackled 3 little projects.
I went through the mini fridge downstairs (we use it for the kids to keep juice boxes, jello and yogurt in for when they’re watching tv, playing games or hanging out with friends) and tossed out expired jello cups. I hate wasting money like that so I’m going to have to patrol that fridge on a weekly basis from now on!
I also went through the monster of a fridge in my kitchen and was pretty proud of myself as I only had to toss out a few odds and ends (mostly the remnants of left-overs).
Lastly I went through my “miscellaneous” magazines and iSliced what I wanted to keep and tossed out the rest. There were only a few I had to go through and next week I’ll be able to go through the rest of the magazines on my list because there’s only about 2 dozen magazines left floating around.
Well, that’s it for today, I’m off to get dressed and then off to a visit to my MIL’s. There was a time (many, many, many years ago) when I dreaded going to her place, but I can honestly say with all sincerity and deep love and appreciation, that I enjoy visiting with her, and I give all the credit to Jesus and the way He touched her heart and ours.
Have a wonderful weekend and may God bless you and your loved ones beyond measure!
This post is about 12 hours late but when my husband invited me out for a cup of coffee last night, I couldn’t pass it up, we don’t go out very often and rarely is it just him and I, so while I missed the post, I’m not one bit sorry.
Any-who; , I finally finished the afghan I started back in November for my daughter. It was meant to be a Christmas present, but I started to have trouble with my hands (numbness and tingling) and there were lots of times when I would have to stop after just a few minutes. So, after my husband and I got back from the Diner, we settled in bed and I grabbed the afghan (mind you, it’s the size of a full size bed) and started the final task of weaving and trimming excess yarn. It’s made up of Granny Squares (I’m going to take a picture with my daughter holding it and I’ll add it to this post later this weekend) so there were lots and lots and lots and lots of bits of yarn in black, burgundy, ecru and off white.
Now, you’re probably wondering why I feel this task should be classified as de-cluttering. Well I’ll tell you why – first of all it’s a big blanket, secondly it’s been in a bag on the floor next to my side of the bed, and last but not least – it was taking up space in my bedroom and it doesn’t belong in my room or my house for that matter; it belongs in my daughter bedroom in her apartment!
So, if it doesn’t have a place to go to in my house or it’s taking up space and doesn’t need to – it’s officially clutter and MUST GO!!! Anyway, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
