Are you going through a difficult time with your finances or your job? Is there a decision you must make but don’t know what is the best choice to make? Perhaps you are having problems in your marriage or other relationships.
“And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram, caught in a thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son.(Gen. 22:13-14)
Do you ever feel like God does not hear your prayers? Have you ever felt like God hasn’t answered your prayers because you don’t go to church enough, or read your bible enough? Perhaps He won’t hear you because you have backslidden, or you aren’t “religious enough” or a “good christian”? These mindsets are not of God. Nowhere does His word say these things. He is a merciful, loving and forgiving Father. These thoughts of us not being worthy is the work of satan. The enemy will do whatever he can to keep our focus off of God. Read Matthew chapter 6 and pay specific attention to chapters 25-28. God’s plan is for us to prosper. – Jer. 29.11 He said He hears us and knows what we ask for before we even speak it. Is. 65:24, Matt. 6:8 When we call upon Him, He will be there. Ps. 50:15, Is. 58:9, Ps. 91:15, Ps. 145:18-19. The one thing that we must do is to have FAITH!!! We must believe that God hears us, wants to prosper us, and is there for us. Even when it feels like He is not there or not listening, He is. Sometimes we pray for things we think we want or need, and while God hears those prayers, He knows what we need. Matt. 6:25. Sometimes we are not ready to handle the things we pray for, so God must prepare us to receive it. Faith, Faith, Faith… From the time we lift our heads from the pillow, till we lay it back down again, we must trust that God is in control, loves us unconditionally and will provide for us.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8
