March 31st – Reflect and Meditate

Pray at all times, on every occasion, in every season in the Spirit, with all manner of prayer and entreaty.  To that end, keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints; God’s consecrated people.

Ephesians 6:18

As we close this month, let us stop and take a moment to go back through the prayer requests and lift them up in prayer.  If anyone has an update or praise report, please put it on the site or pass along the information to me so I can post it.  I thank everyone for their diligence and commitment to pray.  God bless you and keep you in His care.  May the peace that surpasses all understanding be yours today and always.

March 30th – God has your back

When you go forth to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid of them for the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.

And when you come near to the battle, the priest shall approach and speak to the men, and shall say to them, Hear, O Israel, you draw near this day to battle against your enemies.  Let not your minds and hearts faint; fear not, and do not and tremble or be terrified and in dread because of them.

For the Lord your God is He, Who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you.

-Deuteronomy 20:1-4 Amplified Bible

March 29th – Amazing Love

Amazing Love

I’m forgiven, because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, because You were condemned.
I am alive and well, and Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

Amazing love, How can it be?
That You, my King would die for me?
Amazing love, I know it’s true.
It’s my joy to honor You,
In all I do, I honor You.

-Billy James Foote

Deb

I would like to ask everyone to lift my friend Deb up in prayer.  She once claimed she could never stop smoking, and today I learned that she has decided to quit smoking after many, many years.   Praise God!!  She is such a good hearted person and a blessing to everyone who knows her.  Please pray that God restores her to perfection.  Deb is a very compassionate person and has a calling on her to minister to people who are sick, elderly or in need.  She is devoted to her family and friends and puts their needs above hers.  Ask God to bless her with the desires of her heart and give her inner peace and strengthen her faith to step out and become all that God has planned for her to be.  In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Daniele

Daniele called me today to say that she has an interview on this Thursday with CHOP, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia!  Praise be to God.  I thank everyone for their prayers and ask you to pray for favor with each person that will interview her.  She told me that there will be 3 interviewers and they will each spend an hour with her.  WOW!  She needs an excellent looking and great fitting suit, so please ask for favor finding something in her price range.  I’ll continue to keep you posted.  Thanks again for all your prayers.

March 28th – You will reap what you sow

The Emperor’s Seed

If you plant honesty, you will reap trust.
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap victory.
If you plant consideration, you will reap harmony.
If you plant hard work, you will reap success.
If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.
If you plant openness, you will reap intimacy.
If you plant patience, you will reap improvements.
If you plant faith, you will reap miracles.

But:

If you plant dishonesty, you will reap distrust.
If you plant selfishness, you will reap loneliness.
If you plant pride, you will reap destruction.
If you plant envy, you will reap trouble.
If you plant laziness, you will reap stagnation.
If you plant bitterness, you will reap isolation.
If you plant greed, you will reap loss.
If you plant gossip, you will reap enemies.
If you plant worries, you will reap wrinkles.

If you plant sin, you will reap guilt.
So be careful what you plant now, it will determine what you will reap tomorrow.  The seeds you now scatter will make life worse or better your life or the ones who will come after.  Yes, someday, you will enjoy the fruits, or you will pay for the choices you plant today.

March 27th – Good Words

To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world.

Going to church does not make you a Christian anymore than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger.

Real friends are those, who when you feel you’ve made a fool of yourself; don’t feel you’ve done a permanent job.

A coincidence is when God performs a miracle, and decides to remain anonymous.

Sometimes the majority only means that all the fools are on the same side.

I don’t have to attend every argument I’m invited to.

Lead your life so you won’t be ashamed to sell the family parrot to the town gossip.

People gather bundles of sticks to build bridges they never cross.

Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you respond to it.

Did it ever occur to you that nothing occurs to God?

Life is like an onion; you peel off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.

Learn from the mistakes of others, you can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.

There are two things I’ve learned: there is a God; and, I’m not Him.

Following the path of least resistance is what makes rivers and people crooked.

Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’s grace.  And your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace.

When it comes time to die…make sure all you got to do is die.

Don’t be afraid to learn; knowledge is weightless; a treasure you can always carry easily.

Danny

I just wanted to give an update on Danny.  He is doing okay.  He has always loved to golf, and he was able to hit a few balls last week.   He continues to take his  medication and is still on oxygen daily.  Please continue to lift him up in prayer and keep his wife Gloria in your prayers as well.  She has her hands full and a house full of family to keep her busy everyday.  Pray that God will continue the good work in Danny and heal both of them so that they can have peace, relax and enjoy their family and time together.

George

Please pray for George.  He had an anuerysm that went into his heart and exploded causing him to have a  heart attack.  He is out of the hospital and now in Manor Care for rehabilitation.  He has lost a lot of weight, and is on the road to healing and we need your prayers to help him regain his strength.  George was working 14 hour days which is very stressfull both physically and emotionally, so pray that he does not have to return to such a taxing and stressful schedule once he fully recovers.  I am not sure if George is saved, so it can’t hurt to ask God to surround him with people who believe and love the Lord, and that can be a witness to him.  Thank you everyone for your diligence, commitment and prayers.

Hang In There

I received this today, and feel it is a great message to pass on!

A message from Joel Osteen

Today’s Scripture

Hang in There!

“Our present troubles are quite small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever!” (2 Corinthians 4:17)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

Does there seem to be a problem waiting for you no matter where you turn? Do you sometimes wonder if your dreams are ever going to come to pass? Maybe you’ve asked why God would allow you to struggle in your job, your relationships, your health, or some other area of life. God allows you to go through challenges because He knows it’s the struggle of life that builds strength in you. If God simply delivered you from every struggle every time, then you may not continue to grow and learn to trust Him. When you persevere through difficult times, you’ll begin to realize a greater level of joy, peace, victory, and abundance than you ever dreamed possible. Remember, God loves you too much to leave you where you are. He’s preparing you for something better!

A Prayer for Today

God, thank You for giving me what You know I need. Help me to learn and grow through my struggles as I trust You to bring me out stronger than ever. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Steve & Rita

Please pray for Steve.  He is going back into the hospital for a week of chemo treatments.  Pray that God will give him the strength to go through the treatments.  He and his wife Rita have both been fighting  health problems for some time now; and they are doing their best to stay in good spirits.  Ask God to complete the good works He has begun in them and may they be a living testimony of God’s love and mercy.

March 26th – Praise of a Good Woman

Praise of a Good Woman

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth avineyard.

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

She stretcheth our her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall bepraised.  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

March 25th – Trust in ADONAI

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusted in Thee.  Trust ye in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah, is everlasting strength.  Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV

A person whose desire rests on You, You preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.  Trust in ADONAI forever, because in Yah ADONAI, is a Rock of Ages.  Isaiah 26:3-4 The Complete Jewish Bible

Christina

Prayer warriors I have an urgent prayer request for a dear friend of mine.  She has struggled most of her life with health problems, yet we never heard her complain.  A few years ago we learned she was diagnosed with cancer and with everyone’s prayers, medical treatments and the Lord’s healing hand, she conquered the disease.  I just learned that she has not been feeling well and her doctors feel the cancer may have returned.  In addition, her husband has not been doing well which makes the thought of going through the treatments again unthinkable.  She has always been a fighter, but the last round took a lot from her.  She needs prayer!  Not just for physical healing for her and her husband, but for the courage and strength to go on, to keep her spirit and hope alive, and to put her whole trust in God; for only He knows the hour and day we will meet Him, and what He has planned for us.  “Heavenly Father, creator of all there is, we cry out to you and ask that you watch over your daughter, Christina.  You are Jehova Rophe, The Lord who heals; healer of our bodies, spirit and souls.  Lord, you can close doors no man can open, and bring healing when man cannot.  Jehovah Shalom, be with her and her family and blanket her in your peace.  May she know and lean on you, El Shaddai, for you are God Almighty, and God All Sufficient.  Let Psalm 23 be ever present with her and on her lips, and the victory of Job strenghten her faith, in Jesus mighty name; AMEN.

March 24th – What do you look at?

Today’s Scripture  –  What Do You Look At?

“The LORD does not look at the things man looks at.

Man looks at the outward appearance,

but the LORD looks at the heart.”      (1 Samuel 16:7)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

When you accept Christ, He begins to work in you and through you automatically.

He creates you to be a completely new person. No one else around you may notice the change,

at least immediately, because man usually only sees the outside of a person,

what can be seen and heard. And sometimes, you may not even see or

feel the change. But the fact is that God changed youwhen you became

a Christian, and He is still changing you because you belong to Him, and you have

His power and strength to be a new person! God changes people where it

matters—on the inside.  Don’t be discouraged if others around you don’t seem to notice

a difference. Don’t ever forget that a life-changing transformation has taken place in your heart.

A Prayer for Today

God, thank You for Your life-changing power and strength.  Give me eyes to see people

the way You see them, from the inside out. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

March 23rd – Take time and look

Sometimes it seems like God is difficult to find and impossibly far away.

We get so caught up in our small daily duties and irritations that they

become the only things that we can focus on. What we forget is that

Gods love and beauty are all around us, every day, if only we would

take the time to look up and see them.

Matthias
