    Too Busy – Today’s Scripture

“You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.” (Luke 10:41-42)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

Ephesians 5:16 says to make the most out of every opportunity to do good. It’s difficult to believe that someone is making the most of their opportunities for good when they don’t even see the opportunities. Today, why not take a few minutes to see where you are in terms of how you’re spending your time. Are you making the most of every opportunity God gives you to do good for someone? Do you recognize those opportunities? Many Christians today make the same mistake as Martha did in Luke 10, and concern themselves with tasks instead of sitting at the feet of Jesus. Sit at the feet of Jesus today, and make sure you aren’t too busy to share His Word with others.

    A Prayer for Today

God, help me not to worry about mundane things, but to be consumed by You. May I have boldness as I share Your Word with others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  2. A few years ago I was driving to work and I started to have a chat with God. I was very upset and stressed out and I cried out to the Lord to give me strength. Moments later I began to hear a melody in my head that was very calming and soothing. I then found myself praying in song but I did not feel like the words were mine, it felt like the words were coming from God. He was praying for me, through me and to me. It was so amazing I cannot describe it and I knew I had to write down as much of it as I could remember. No matter how hard I tried, I could not remember any of what I had prayed and I was so disappointed because I wanted to share it. A few days, I was reading when I began to hear the melody and words in my head. I want to share them with you…
    Lord Give Me Strength
Lord give me strength, I’m feeling weak.
Lord put the words into my mouth, that I must speak.
My mind is troubled, from all the things I’ve seen…Lord let your love wash over me.
Lord send me comfort, I feel alone.
I’m hanging on here by a thread, Lord hear my groans.
I need your loving arms, something I can hold…Lord let your love wash over me.
Lord show me mercy, I’m on my knees.
Lord I’m not perfect, my flesh is weak.
My heart’s been broken from all the things I’ve seen…Lord let your love wash over me.
Lord let me drink, from the waters that send forth, refreshing life. Lord heal the wounds that I have hidden and have forced down deep inside. Lord I long to be your humble servant, and from your will I shall not hide. Lord, I need you in my life. Oh thank you Lord, for my life.

    • Hi:

Almost two years ago, I had a similar experience on my way to church one Sunday morning in November 2007.

I had knocked my head rather severely two months before and had been enduring the worse sort of pains. (I believe that has resulted in an aneurysm for which I have asked for prayer). Anyway, to avoid hearing the music on the radio in the taxi, I started humming to myself and realized that it was making sense. There were actual words and music. God was singing to me!

I know because He was saying to me that He gave his life in complete surrender because He loved me, that He paid my price and He bore all of my pain so I could gain a victory. He went on to say the enemy was the one to blame for the entire situation however, if I released my faith and trusted in his word, he would cover me as He still was my Lord. Then He told me the battle was not mine but His.

The words kept coming and the music as well. I have written 27 songs since then.

I had never written one before in my entire life! And each time, He gives me words and music together.

He is truly amazing and I love Him .

      Thanks for listening!

      Ann

  3. I wanted to past this along, I hope you are as blessed by it as I was.

A man’s daughter had asked the local minister to come and pray with her father. When the minister arrived, he found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows. An empty chair sat beside his bed. The minister assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit. ‘I guess you were expecting me, he said. ‘No, who are you?’ said the father.
The minister told him his name and then remarked, ‘I saw the empty chair and I figured you knew I was going to show up,’ ‘Oh yeah, the chair,’ said the bedridden man. ‘Would you mind closing the door?’ Puzzled, the minister shut the door. ‘I have never told anyone this, not even my daugh ter,’ said the man. ‘But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head.’ I abandoned any attempt at prayer,’ the old man continued, ‘until one day four years ago, my best friend said to me,
‘Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus. Here is what I suggest.’ ‘Sit down in a chair; place an empty chair in front of you, and in faith see Jesus on the chair. It’s not spooky because he promised, ‘I will be with you always’. ‘Then just speak to him in the same way you’re doing with me right now.’ ‘So, I tried it and I’ve liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I’m careful though, If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she’d either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.’ The minister was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey. Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church. Two nights later the daughter called to tell the minister that her daddy had died that afternoon. Did he die in peace?’ he asked. Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him dead. But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head on the chair beside the bed.
What do you make of that?’ The minister wiped a tear from his eye and said, ‘I wish we could all go like that.’

Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.

I asked God for water, He gave me an ocean.

I asked God for a flower, He gave me a garden .

I asked God for a friend, He gave me YOU…

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

    Happy moments, praise God.

    Difficult moments, seek God.

    Quiet moments, worship God.

    Painful moments, trust God.
    Every moment, thank God.

‘Sorrow looks back… Worry looks around… Faith looks up…’

I received this as an email today. It is such an awesome prayer that I am passing it along.

    A Financial Prayer

Heavenly Father, most Gracious and Loving God, I pray to You, that You abundantly bless my family and me. I know that You recognize, that a family is more than just a mother, father, sister, brother, husband and wife, but all who believe and trust in You.

GOD, I send up a prayer request for financial blessing not just for myself, but for everyone that receives this message. And Lord, I know that the Power of joined prayer by those who believe and trust in You is more powerful than anything! I thank You in advance for your blessings.

Release your Godly wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that You have given me GOD , for I know how wonderful and mighty You are and how if we just obey You, and walk in Your word, and have the faith of a mustard seed that You will pour out blessings. I thank You now Lord for the recent blessings I have received and for the blessings yet to come because I know You are not done with me Yet. Amen

Please pass this prayer along and then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life for doing the thing that you know He loves for us to do. Pray!

This is an awesome word from Joel Osteen, may God bless and keep you in His care…

    Today’s Scripture – A Champion’s Legacy

“I will open up the windows of heaven for you and pour out a blessing so great you won’t have room enough to take it in!” (Malachi 3:10)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria

Did you know that you have the legacy and heritage of a champion? You have a just need to believe for and expect the great things that God has in store for you. You have to expect God’s favor, abundance, and blessing in every area of your life, because He wants to give you victory in each and every situation and circumstance. You probably have many things in your past that you are thankful for, but even greater things are in the near future for you! The Bible says you won’t even have enough room to hold everything that God wants to pour out on you. It is impossible to out-give God, and you should be thankful for that, because He continues to give you His victorious legacy.

    A Prayer for Today

God, thank You for giving me part of Your champion’s legacy. Strengthen me as I seek to live victoriously in Your power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I love this message from Joel Osteen. I want to share it with you. God Bless

    Today’s Scripture

    Leave Your Comfort Zone
“To You, O LORD, I called, and to the Lord I made supplication.” (Psalm 30:8)

Today’s Word from Joel and Victoria
Prayer is a vital part of your Christian life. God promises so many things to those that call upon Him for help and for blessings! David, the author of Psalm 30, certainly knew what it meant to call out to God for his needs. David also knew how to believe in God for great things. You can do the same! Call upon God in sincere prayer, and He will answer! God is calling you to go deeper than you have ever gone before; He desires bigger and better things for you. You just need to have the determination to seek after the blessings that God has in store for you. You can experience amazing things if you just unleash the power of prayer in your life.
    A Prayer for Today
God, thank You for promising many things to me as I am faithful to seek You in prayer. Today, I pray for strength and a new resolve to step out and have full faith in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“I am The Living Almighty,The only True King.Worship no other but me.You may disobey me but I wil correct you,but if u reject me for idols I wil turn my back to you for nothing angerz me more than IDOLATORY!when I turn my back to u,I wil let u be inflicted with incurable diseases,u wil be robbed and killed in the streets, the sky wil hold back its rain and the ground shall be dry,u wil lack food to eat,u wil be so confused u wil lose sanity. All because u rejected Me,The only Living Almighty,The True King,The Great Father,The I Am”. . . What we need to understand is:God and The I Am,are two different people.talking above is The I Am,look around da world, aren’t all what He says wil hapen 2us 4doing Idolatory hapening?if God and The I am are one, then why are we being punished by HaEhyah when 58% of the world are christians?. Remember:”Forgive me for asking Father, but what if 10 Sodomites worship only You,will u stil destroy Sodom?”to which HaEhyah replied”No,I shall spare her for the sake of the 10 that worship I
