Our thoughts are another area of attack because when bad things happen we become fearful, yet the word says that "For God (Elohim) has not given us the spirit of fear, but of lpower and of love and of a sound mind." this is why it is so important that we 1 Cor 10.5 Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought to the obedience of Christ. Then we are to Phil 4:8 whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are just, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, to think on these things. For when we do, when we Prov 3.5,6 Trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. John 14.27 Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Shalom!
